spotting...

i had my levels redone today .. lastnight the HCG was 7084 and this afternoon they were only 7284 they said they would like to have seen more but on the plus side it didnt drop but to be expecting to miscarry and gave me instructions incase. i have to go back in 48 hours to get blood work done again if i dont miscarry before then has anyone ever turned out ok with only a 200 risein numbers ? i hope this is a fluke but im also with terms if i do lose it i know now i can get pregnant and we will try once again

I'm sorry to see that this has happened to you. You should probably repost this as another thread cuz it will get lost down here in this thread. If your numbers double in 48 hours, then that will be a positive sign. You can't really judge that small rise in such a short amount of time. You really need to look at your 48 hour numbers. Have they checked your progesterone levels? If not, ask to get it checked. I'm hoping your numbers double and this was just an isolated case of spotting!

they did check them and it was 6.5

no and they told me since im bleeding they wont put me on one because they dont know if its a viable pregnancy now ... they said they will wait to see my numbers from my next draw  ughhhh that made me so mad..

Oh God I'd be pissed. That COULD be the reason why you're having the issues you're having (although there's much debate about progesterone supplementation in pregnancy and what it will or won't help or save miscarriage wise)

Now just to reassure you a bit, my progesterone was 5.5 for at least a week and a half before I actually found out what it was and finally got the supplementation I needed. But I'm 15 weeks now and haven't used the supplementation for weeks now.

I'm REALLY mad for you. Did they know what your progesterone was before all the spotting started?? I'm praying that your baby is ok and stays put and that you get the progesterone you need. Tell them to prescribe it for you NOW, that it's not going to hurt anything at all for you to start taking it right now. And it may help. Gosh, that's just wrong. I feel bad for you sweetie!

no they refused to see my untill i was  8 weeks i called them when i thought i was 4 but apparently i was only 1 lol .. I think i might call my PCP and see if they will prescribe it instead because even she is all over everything even with my rny she does he own labs to make sure im up on everything .I guess they are waiting to see if my numbers dbl to see if its even worth putting me on it .. i do know that if i do lose this baby i will not try to see this " high risk" specialist again high risk u think they would see you right away nope im so flipping mad because my first appointment with them was for this thursday ughhh ..I did ask about being put on progesterone and they did refuse and i only knew to ask due to this board but what do you do when they refuse saying they want to see if your baby is viable

There are some creams that you can get from like GNC.......progesterone creams....and you spread it on your inner thighs. Not as good as the supplementation you get by prescription but in the meantime, it would be something. If I'm thinking correctly, the one made with yam root has the most progesterone, but don't quote me on that! Just check the label or ask the person who's working there. I hope you can get something!
