spotting...

so they say its a threatened abortion ultra sound says im 4-5 week only sac n yolk... numbers are 7084 for my hcg.. tomorrow i have to call my Dr to get blood again to see if numbers go up or down ..please please go up!!!!

same exact thing happened to me.  thought i was further along, they didnt even see a sac when i went in and said i was 4-5 weeks. hCg levels sound good, praying they double!

They gave you the right answer.......even though it's not a very reassuring answer. Your cervix is engorged with blood at this point and the slightest irritation can cause spotting. As long as it is not bright red and there's not a lot of it (enough to soak a pad an hour) you're good. I had some pink spotting at 6 weeks and it went away and I was fine. I had it during my 2nd pregnancy too after intercourse and it freaked me out since we had gone through fertility problems and it took 18 months to finally get pregnant. But it was pink and my cervix was irritated from the intercourse and it went away after 2 trips to the bathroom and baby was born nice and healthy at 39 weeks. Don't worry, everything will be ok!

I am not going to tell you everything is going to be okay, but I am not going to tell the horror stories either.  I will just say try not to stress because that is not good for either you or the baby.  You did the right thing by going to the ER.  Stay in with your feet up and rest.  Let people take care of you.  Only get up if you have to and I would say no sex until you hear from the dr.  Good luck and I hope everything works out well for you.

so today the blood is a brownish color which im kinda happy about cuz it means its old blood .. still having some cramping going on nothing major .. my appt with my pcp is at 2p to check my levels

im just now reading this and wanted to tell you that i went through the same thing at 8 weeks, im a FTM and i freaked...im now 18 weeks and baby is doing well. I hope for the same outcome for you and your little one. Please keep us posted. You will be in my thoughts, take care hun!
