So today i started to have some spotting nothing serious just some light pink here and there and im freaking out about it !!! I called the oncall DR and she said it might be due to intercourse and because its not "red" i should be fine and the cramping i have is normal for early pregnancy .. this doesnt seem like a good enough answer to me . I dont know if its because i have yet to see a Dr my first appt. is thursday so i havent had any blood work or anything done yet .. man im a wreak right now has anyone else spotted before ? did everything turn out to be ok ?

I spotted alot throughout my first trimester and it freaked me out everytime too. But everything is fine now. I made my doctor see me everytime it happened so I could be checked out. How far along are you? I'd ask for an earlier appointment to make sure things are ok and to ease your mind.

Good. At 8 weeks they should definately be able to see a heartbeat so it would ease your mind. Let us know how it went.

From what I have seen on here and other boards, it's completely normal.  Some women spot through their entire pregnancy.

Idk if you can view my older posts or not, but I went through the same thing. It is such a scary feeling everytime you see it there... and even when people tell you that it is normal, and to just take it easy, it will feel that way untill the day you hold your baby in your arms. Im sorry you are going through this too. The only thing I can suggest is that when you start noticing the spotting, to slow things down a bit, rest, drink alot of fluid and just breath girl. :) You'll be ok! :)

I had some spotting and cramping early out too. I took more HPTs those first few weeks then many people do in a lifetime! lol I had to wait until 8 weeks for any sort of confirmation - I went for an ultrasound then - and ONLY because I had a previous miscarriage. Try to rest with your feet up when you can and drink lots of water. I hope that thursday gets here quickly! And while I know it is basically impossible - try and relax, it is better for you both!
