Question about GD test
Personally, I think if you want an accurate result, you should eat like you normally eat. Sure you could eat something that's all protein and no carbs & pass with flying colors but obviously that's not going to tell you if you have an issue unless that's how you always eat.
I'm surprised they're doing it at 2 hours. Usually the standard for preggos is to check at 1 hour. I have to check at 1 hour (was already diabetic when I got pregnant) now and it's much harder to hit the 1 hour target.

True....unless you are pregnant. For non-pregnant women, the standard is less than 140 after 2 hours.
When pregnant, post prandials are done at 1 hour with a goal of less than 155...or for my doctor, less than 130.
