35 week Ultrasound....

I had my 35 week ultrasound today and everything looks good.  Baby girl is head down with plenty of fluid and measuring 5.6 pounds and suppose to be gaining a pound a week...do the math.....  That would put her at 10 pounds at 40 weeks, however, I suspect that she is not going to wait that long.

We shall see......

wow. that sounds great.  I was curious are you high risk?  or was that a normally scheduled ultrasound.  I had one at 20 weeks but didnt know if I would get another one...I'm 29 weeks now.

No..I am not high risk and that really wasn't a normally scheduled ultrasound.  I really thought that the baby was breech and also my BP is a little elevated, so my OB decided to order one to be on the safe side.  Other than that, she probably wouldn't have.  I hadn't had an ultrasound since about 20 - 22 weeks.

By the way, it's YOU and baby combined who will be gaining about a pound a week, not the baby alone. She gets half, you get half.

Glad to hear that the baby looks good. They always said that my daughter was bigger than what she was cause they expected her to be huge. So their measuring isn't always exactly right.
