Bandsters experiences
I had my band completely unfilled in October due to reflux problems. I was due to have it filled again in January but got my BFP on Christmas eve.
Anyway since becoming pregnant I've had a few "stuck" episodes and can eat even less that when I had a fill. I've actually lost 9lb since Christmas.
I was just wondering if anybody had similar experiences. I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is just normal pregnancy stuff or is because of my band. If you had similar did it get better as your pregnancy went on.
Any info would be great
Thanks, in advance

Well, I can't answer too much since I am just over 12 weeks but I can give you my experience to this point.
I had horrible all day sickness so I had a little taken out of my band at 6 1/2 weeks. I will say that anytime I have had fluid taken out of my band, I have to be more careful. I could eat more and eat larger bites, thus making have reflux or stuck episodes.
Also, they say that hormones play a huge role with women. When I had my two losses last year, I had to have my band deflated because my restriction increased so bad. But then, three weeks later it was filled right back. It just need a little break to get the hormonal overload ok.
Now, at 12 weeks and 4 days, the morning sickness has gone away. I don't have any reflux issues really unless I eat before laying down, don't chew my food properly (like taking a huge bite), and/or eating more than I should. I am used to my band so I have had good luck as I still stick to band rules about eating.

If your band is completely empty and you're getting stuck and can't eat much, I would definitely call your surgeon.
I still have some of my fill and I can eat anything and as much as I want of it.
An empty band causing you problems doesn't sound right to me.
Congrats on your pregnancy, though!

I didn't really have any trouble, but I kept a fairly loose fill during my pregnancy. However, the band can really be affected by fluid retention, and lots of fluid retention is the norm for pregnancy! If you're hvaing a lot of trouble eating it is probably worth a visit to your doctor though!
