2nd baby shower
I am excited to see what you're having too. We're pretty close in due dates!
I did keep a lot of clothes from my daughter but she was born Dec 20 and this one is due Jun 24 so the bad thing is the clothing is pretty seasonal. Heavy warm things in newborn and 0-3 months, when I'm going to be needing lighter clothes for summer. Some things will still work obviously but there are several things that won't.

LOL, I have the same problem if this baby is a girl. My daughter was born Dec. 26th...and your baby is due on my son's Birthday!
I will be using sleepers for the first few months but if we are outside, then it will have to be some light clothing. My husband plays alot of softball, so we will be out alot, but I also bought a kick butt sun shade that will be awesome for us to sit under. it covers 4 people so thats going to be nice.
Hopefully I will get to post tomorrow what we are having! I am so excited!

My family is the same- This time though I am having twins and they are boys- our first is a girl, so my sister in law decided she would give us a shower. It's nice too because we know what we need and can make our registries really specific to the twins, which will be nice. Do you have some friends that could throw the shower for you instead of family? You could invite your family members too of course, but then if they have issues or feel embarassed by it, it's not such a big deal because they aren't the ones inviting. Just a thought!

One of my sister in laws had twin boys so obviously she needed a shower, even though she had a boy previously. When you're having twins, you need so much stuff. That makes complete sense to me.
I don't really have any friends that live in the area. Both of my friends live an hour and a half away and I don't get to see them much anymore. It kind of sucks not having friends close by, but I have family close that's why I was pretty sure it would be my mom who would throw one or I just wouldn't have one. Of course my husband did just mention that he thought the ladies at my church would probably throw me a shower. I hadn't thought about that before.

When I found out I was pregnant (my daughter is 4 yrs old) my sister said she was going to throw me a baby shower but I said no cause I had one with my first pregnancy-5 yrs ago. Then I thought about it and said "WHY NOT" it'll be fun to have family and friends come and see the baby bump, play games and eat. I don't care if I get anything I just want people to come have fun playing games, eat and seeing the pregnant belly, lol.
So theme is "Baby Shower Luau Style" yummy Hawaiian foods.....can't wait, its scheduled for May 23, 2010
I hope you get the 2nd baby shower.
That's a good idea. To be honest I'm just afraid I'm gonna feel like crap for quite awhile after the baby is born. With my daughter I had a C section that got infected and I was hospitalized for a week when she was 2-3 weeks old. Hopefully that won't happen again, that sucked big time. As long as I'm healthy and feeling good, I really like the idea of a welcoming party.
