C-section question

I am having a c-section on April 2nd. My last c-section was over five years ago and I can not remeber how long it was before I was a loud to drive. Does anyone here know how long before I am aloud to drive.

I was allowed to drive when I was no longer taking prescription pain medication. Every doctor is different, though.

Supposedly after you're off pain meds... I was told by my doctor no driving until 6 week check-up with them. But, ummm... I didn't listen very well. :-D

I was also told once you were off of pain meds you could drive. I drove myself to my 1 week follow up appointment. I didn't take pain meds after I left the hospital.

I was told no driving for 2 weeks. I , however , also drove myself to my 1 week check up. Gotta do what you gotta do! :)

After all 4 of my C-sections they told me 2 weeks. Depends on the Dr. too.

Thanks guys! I was starting to panic because I have three kids that go to different activities during the day and my hubby cannot go in two different directions at once.
