Baby is Great

Ok, that was the longest appointment EVER! We got there around 8:50am and I got to my desk at 12:40pm (the doctor is in the same building as the hospital I work in). 

I did all kinds of paperwork. I peed in a cup. Then, we met with the genetics counselor. Hubby and I had to pretty much threaten the lady because we had already told them we would not do the CVS or the amnio. She kept saying why are you doing the blood work and NT if you aren't going to do the amnio. I said because my RE and OB said to do it because I am 35. OB said it was the least invasive of all the tests and she required me to do the NT because of I am 35! We got done with her and they put us back in the waiting room. By this time there was 20 people waiting!

We finally got back and the ultrasound tech took ALL KIND of pictures. They were great pictures. The baby measured perfect. The neck fold was perfect. We saw everything and the best is the baby is still alive! They took five vials of blood!

I go back in 6 weeks (20 weeks) for full anatomy scan and to find out the sex.

Yeah!!!! I'm glad you got to see your baby.   :)  Congrats. 
Now you get to start telling people !!  That's going to be fun.

We decided to tell our families on Sunday when I hit 13 weeks! I am so excited to tell my Daddy!

That is so awesome.  I am so happy for you and your hubby, Traci.  You guys are finally having your dreams fulfilled.

Well, we are one step closer to having our dreams fullfilled! I can't wait to tell our family on Sunday.
