Miscarriage
It's highly possible it could have been a chemical pregnancy and you're just having your regular period. And an ultrasound at 3-4 weeks wouldn't show a baby anyway. At that point there is just a bunch of cells, maybe a yolk sac and fetal pole. I'm sure it's still disheartening anyway. I've been there with the chemical pregnancy thing.
Why does your Dr send you to the ER all the time? That's an awful lot of money to spend every time just for routine blood work that the Dr. could do at his office. What insurance do you have? Don't they have a fit for all the ER visits or do they stick you with the bills for it not being an 'emergency'? Man, my insurance would throw a coniption (sp?) fit and probably make me pay the bills. Anyway, I was just curious...they sure send you there a lot, they always have.
