I need some advice.  I hate to even complain about this because I am so excited about being pregnant but what can I do about this nausea.  I have vomited a few times and it seems that my sickness begins after lunch and more towards the afternoon hours.  I eat and I get sick and then if I don't eat I get sick so I need to see what I am doing wrong.  I have been trying to snack on fruits, cheeses and crackers have made me feel better.  Any pointers would be a big help.  Thanks guys!!!!!

Lucky you! I would LOVE to be able to throw up. In the past 4 weeks, I have done that ONCE. ALl the other times it's dry heaves. I live for my Zofran, altho it did make me sick today. I had to have fasting blood work done and the taste turns my stomach on a good day.

I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Zofran it was God in a pill. If your Dr will prescribe it then it will help you out ALOT!! I puked all day even water right from the start once I got that then I at least could eat crackers. Good Luck

saltines, oyster crackers, ginger ale and altoids got me through the first 12 was weeks. It was rough but I survived. My Dr didn't want to perscribe anything unless I couldn't keep any food or fluids down for 24 hours.

Good luck and feel better!

If you feel comfortable doint it.  Injectible anti nausea meds are the way to go.  They completely pass your gut (so do suppositories but I HATE supportitories...they burn, and I can never hold them in as long as you are supposed to).  I have both injectible phenergan and vistaril and they are miracle for me.  They can be pricey if your insurance doesnt cover them.

I hope you feel better!

Laura

Edited for incredibly terrible spelling...I must have still been "drugged" from my anti-nausea meds
