Questions before TTC
Hi all. I almost 7 months out, and I'm not ready to TTC yet, but I have some questions. I was wondering how eating changes once you are PG? What I mean is, do you eat more calories? Do any of you still drink protein drinks? What about vitamins? Like I said, I'm not planning on TTC yet, but I just want to be as prepared as possible beforehand.
Everything gets tweaked. I have to eat 1500-1800 calories a day (I struggle every day and I am 3 years out), 90 grams + of protein, 100 grams of carbs. I take prenatal vites, B12, folic acid, and calcium. Dr wants me to try not to drink protein shakes but if I need to thats OK too.

Thanks for the info Liz! That really does sound like a lot of calories, protein and carbs! And I do really a lot on protein drinks still at this point. I'm glad you mentioned your nutritionist, I will make it a point to talk to her about my plans at my next appointment. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
