I'm glad everything is ok.  I haven't taken any trips to L&D yet but I'm sure I will as it seems to be the thing to do around here!

At least you're only on pelvic rest for a couple of weeks.  I was on it from weeks 20-28 until they confirmed the marginal placenta previa was corrected.  Not that I feel like having lots of sex but it would be nice to have the option....even if it's just to make hubby happy.

I Was wondering as I was sitting there all hooked up if there are many people that make it through the entire pregnancy without ending up there at least once. I felt a little silly at first but my nurse was great and kept telling me better safe then sorry.

As for the pelvic rest - hubby will get over it! lol I haven't felt up to anything anyway.

We ended up at the hospital this morning too with birth Mom.  She called me this morning and told me that she had been vomiting most of the night and was cramping severely.  We went in and they hooked the babies up to the monitor for 4 hours and everything is ok with them.  She was not dilated at all and the pains did not appear to be contractions but she was extremely dehydrated.  Her urine sample looked like orange soda!  gross!  They gave her fluids and I took her home about 4 hours later.  I was scared that we were having babies today and she is 27 weeks and 1 day so that makes me nervous.  Luckily we made it through the day and each week is a celebration now.  Glad that you are doing ok and I think alot of moms end up in L&D at least once before the big event.  Birth mom told me that she had to go with her last baby for pre-term labor but they were able to stop it and she is a healthy 3 year old today.

That's scary. I'm happy to hear that everything is ok. I know that when I'm active all day, I feel like I get more contractions, but if I rest and drink more, it's better. Still scary though, you don't want to go into labor that early.
