What if?
I have a quick 'what if' question. I am supposed to go in tomorrow to get my permanent eye liner done and am now 14 dpo and on CD 39. I plan on testing in the morning to make sure it still says negative (hoping for a positive though). However, is there any harm in getting my eye liner done and then a few days later finding out I am pregnant? I got my nose pierced when I was pregnant with Libby, before I knew I was pregnant.
Thanks
Thanks

Not so sure it's a good idea until you find out if you are pregnant or not. When I had my tattoo done (which is what permanent make up is) I went to donate blood a few weeks afterward and was denied because it wasn't 6 months prior. Up until then you're considered to have "ink poisoning". I know that permanent eyeliner is miniscule, but personally I wouldn't do it until finding out for sure. JMHO

Actually, you aren't supposed to donate blood for 12 months after a tattoo because of the risk of HIV or Hep B, which is obviously possible if the tattoo parlor is not a clean one and does not follow their rules.
Thanks for your opinion though. That is kind of what my thoughts are.

I would do it. I'm assuming your having the eyeliner done at the doctors office. The big concern is Hepatitis.

Nah, I thought I would go see a guy that does it out of his trunk down in South Phoenix (aka the ghetto). Just kidding. Yeah, it is a super nice and clean doctors office. They do surgeries and everything there and the facilities are less than 2 years old. All of the needles come out of the sterilized packaging and everything. I think I will just do it. Seriously, what is it going to hurt?

HAHAHA!! I think you'll be fine. My mom got her eyeliner done about 5 years ago it takes like no time at all. I would do it, I don't think it will hurt anything! Good luck hope this is ur month!

Personally - I would do it. I would think that if you're having this done at a Physicians office and they know youre preganant then they would be obligated to tell you if it were unsafe and ultimately refuse to provide the service to you.
I've never heard that you're considered "ink poisoned" after a tat but I *don't* know everything ..
Take before / afters .. I've always wondered about perm. make-up.
Good luck!
