I need some advice from you ladies!!!!!!!!! I'm 21 and 5 months pregnant, I work an office job with very good pay but have only been here since October. It is a very high stress job. And lately it is getting to be too much. I cry everyday on my way to work. Sometimes I feel like I can't take it. When I get very nervous I feel the baby wiggling alot!! I feel like I freak her out when I feel so nervous. I am a very nervous preson to begin with and it has just gotten worse. I would like to stay at work and be able to still make more money, but it's just getting horrible. My boss has no compassion or understading of anything. She just doesn't care, I don't know if I can get a doctor's note, or if I should quit?  I just really don't know what to do . I feel sooo tormented. What would you do??!!

I would talk to your OB. Maybe there is medication that they can give you to make you better able to deal with your anxiety (nervousness). I would first talk to your OB and have them help guide you on what they think is best for you and the baby.

I hope you feel better!!!

Working and being pregnant sucks. I have those same moments all the time, but my financial reality is that I have to work. So, I understand what it feels like to have no choice! I'm not sure if you rely on vacation time or not for your maternity leave, but at my job leave is seperate so I try to take at least one day off a month. I plan it out in advance and ask for it off for some reason but I use it as a me day for rest, etc. Medications might work. Ultimately, however, you have to do what is best for you. If things really are not working out and you can't handle it, even with meds, then maybe you'll need to look at some different alternatives. Good luck though. I am right there with you!

I don't really have any real pearls of wisdom.  I just wanted to say that I hope you feel better soon, and find the right solution for you.
