I was on a vaginal supplement that was compounded with cocoa butter. They had to be kept in the fridge, but it allowed fie the progesterone to be easily and better absorbed. Is there a pharmacy that is specialty and will make these?
I hope that it is ok. When I got preggo this last time around my hcg was low too- but so far so good Keep us posted Jackie- we love ya!!!

I am praying for your little bean.  I don't know if those numbers are normal but you are VERY newly pregnant so I think as long as they keep going up that's a good sign!

I've read stories of lower progesterone than yours that resulted in healthy pregnancies.

I know that some doctors suggest you use the pills vaginally.  You can actually take that little orange pill that is meant to be oral and use it vaginally.  Some say it is absorbed better that way and you don't get the side effects that some women get from Prometrium.  It might be worth a call to your doctor to ask the question.

The good news here is that you were seen really early and they're already addressing it.

Good luck.

It doesn't do you any good to worry, Jackie.

I will be completely honest with you, as you know I would be.  First of all, are you SURE of your O date?  If you catch it earlier (like less than 4 weeks), sometimes progesterone is a little lower and will rise.  It is low, and I would starting taking the progesterone vaginally immediately.  I have seen it go either way with numbers like that.  However, beyond the progesterone, there is nothing you can do...so it is out of your hands.

I will keep my fingers crossed for a good rise at your next draw (even though when absorbed vaginally it won't raise your number that much as it doesn't make it into the bloodstream), and don't automatically assume doom.

Im pretty sure on my ovulation. I use Clearblue easy fertility monitor. I ovulated Jan 23rd and 24th were my positive readings. I took a pill already today. I couldn't wait. Can I take another vaginally? I know kind of a dumb question. I'm trying SO hard not to be down about it. But it's SO hard :( I should be so grateful and I am believe me...I have a beautiful 10 year old son and amazing step kids. I guess in my heart I'm not done having kids.

Of course you aren't done having kids...and don't get down and certainly don't throw in the towel -- no matter the outcome.  Problems can be fixed.

Yes -- you can still take one vaginally now.  You can keep taking them that way.  Is it prometrium?  They absorb better that way and gets it closer to the "parts" that need it.

I will put one in tonight. I wish I had more control over this....really Im not a controlling person...just this is so hard. I'm not giving up. But if we lose this one were going to see medical advice and maybe some genetic testing. Thank you so much for your support!
