just cant wait!! lol

Had an OB appointment yesterday and was kinda sad to find out that my Dr wont let me schedule my gender/anatomy ultrasound until 22 weeks ..
SO i decided to treat myself to a Valentines Day gift by booking a gender ultrasound at a local independent office, they're running a $50 promo right now!! Can u tell im excited?! lol   I'll be 17 weeks and my OB said that we should have no problem finding out gender at this point as long as baby shows us the goods!
So Monday Feb 8th is the day, lets hope baby cooperates!!!!!!!

haha we'll just blame that on preggo brain!!!! LOL

LOL I was wondering about the date too. Good luck! Imma tell them at the office we don't want to know so lie when the hubby is there about not being able to tell. BUT if we have twins I am all for finding out.

That is too funny! Sounds like something I'd do if I didn't want to find out and my hubby did.

Yeah! I hope the baby spreads 'em for ya! Not to scare you, but I had the big ultrasound when I was 16 weeks (they accidentally put in the wrong date, it was supposed to be 20 weeks) and I was so excited to find out if it was a boy or a girl and they couldn't tell!!! I was so disappointed, well, they ended up not being able to see everything they needed to so they had me do another big ultrasound at 20 weeks when I was actually supposed to have it in the first place and they saw then. So I hope the baby shows for you, but if not, don't be too disappointed cause they'll probably be able to tell at the 22 week one.

Only here, would we understand the date was wrong...My husband and I are going for our 3D/4D utrasound on that day as well...my appt is at 8pm; my husband made me call them again and be sure they didn't mean AM not PM....I am glad you will get to find out sooner than 22 weeks..good luck with your results...

Any guess on what you think it is?

I really really hope the little booger shows his/her goods, i wont be too disappointed if he/she doesnt right then, they have no time limit on the ultrasound and guarantee a difinitive answer or they'll reschedule and even if for some reason they are wrong they will refund the 50 dollars. We still dont intend to paint based on these results (easier said then done lol) but i just cant wait haha

I have no real preference, its our first and the first grand baby for both of our fams and are just hoping for a healthy baby! I seem to be dreaming/feeling pink for the most part BUT of course daddy is all for BLUE! lol we shall see

Try some orange juice- Tropicana makes a 50% less sugar variety that I have used for my ultrasounds. I started drinking it slowly about half an hour before my appointment and took some with me. It has worked both times! The sugar and taste seem to make the baby move a lot! It was recommended by a friend and has worked this time- My first baby didn't want to show the goods at all! Good luck.
