Shower canceled!

So mother nature is really dumping on my mom's and inlaws neck of the wood, so we had to cancel my baby shower for this weekend coming up due to the 40++ inches of snow.  We have two planned because I live four hours from my family, so to make it easier, my family/his family were having one at my mom's place and my friends and some family south were coming to my place at the end of the month....looks like my family and inlaws will be coming to the one at my house....was excited about it, but we have another one planned, so I won't get to disappointed!

aww that stinks! We are getting this evil snow storm too (waiting for it to start here tonight). It can't just be re-scheduled? SO glad that there is another shower for you at the end of the month. I am sure that it'll be tons of fun and your closest family and friends will make it!

Well I told my mom let's just see how many people can come to my house, most family, etc have already said no problem, so probably won't reschedule.  My husband can deploy any time between 3/16 and 5/3; so our time is running out for him to put everything together and for us to figure out what we still need, so we are in a time crunch if you know what I mean.   But I will be blessed with one....

Wow that really stinks! I didn't know your hubby was deploying. That really stinks too. My dad just left for Afghanistan and I am really upset that he won't be here when the baby is born. I can't imagine what it would be like for my hubby to be gone.

I hope your 2nd shower goes really well and lots of people can come up for it!

Yep and it's an 8 month deployment, so I am going to learn fast about being a single mom, especially with my family 4 hours aways...but that's part of being a Navy wife

You should have received your invite to the one in Hampton.  I figured that one would be closer for you.  I mailed them back early Feb.  But the Hampton one is the 27th at 2pm at my place.....let me know if you can come and I can email you my addy.....
