I like the Dr. Suess idea. That is cute. I will probably be making our nursery set. When we find out what we're having, I'll go to the fabric store or look at fabric online and find something that we like, order the fabric and start to sewing! It'll be fun, plus I won't be spending a load on the nursery bedding and can make whatever accessories we need and leave out what we don't want.

Love both teh ideas!! Dr Seuss sounds like so much fun!

We did an under the sea / nemo theme because we aren't finding out either. I have the walls painted a bright turquoise color and put up a Nemo border. The bedding set I Found at Target has baby sea creatures on it.

Have fun!

Oh and I had the baby's room painted and we had decided on a theme BEFORE I got pregnant ! lol  I  didn't want to have to deal with the painting while pregnant. too much work for this tired body!

We did a nautical theme... painted the room blue/beige with a white chair rail... added different boat/nautical accessories. I didn't want to go too themey so we could just change out when he is a little older w/o redoing everything.

I think Noah's arc or even a jungle theme is pretty neutral...

Good luck

I did hot air balloons for one of my kiddos...that was the most fun.  I also did rocking horses, baby zoo animals (animated), Noah's arc, ummmm and several more...that have left my mind for a moment.  I still have every bit of the bedding for each one of them stored for them to have when they move out and have children of their own.  I don't care if they do not use it, but I still want them to have it!  I also saved each one's coming home outfit.

The only one we knew the sex of was our last...so he was easy.  The others I used all neutral themes.

Hannah's nursery was done in Baby Looney tunes and I used the same for Noah's.   It's very neutral and cute.  You can find anything you need/want on ebay!
