My mom is back in the hospital

First thanks to everyone that responded to my 38 week update last week and I am sorry I didn't have time to respond.

If you remember my mom had a stroke back in August but had been doing very well since then.  She had even been able to move back home about 30 minutes away from me and needed help with just big things.  Well on Friday she had my aunt take her to the ER here in town because of the fluid she was retaining was above her waste and it was getting difficult to breath.  They admitted her and have done all kinds of test.  Her blood pressure was awful it was running around 253/134, they finally got it under 200.  They are still waiting on the test to come back on her heart but have ruled that she is at least in kidney failure.  Not sure what they are going to do for her or how long she is going to be there.  All I know is that I am having a baby in 3 days and have been scrambling trying to get child care organized and her taken care of.

All prayers and thoughts are appreciated.  I will do my best to update when I can but I am running back and forth to the hospital constantly.  I at least have my house back to myself as my brother-in-law left this morning to go back to CA, he has been here a week and I am just exhausted.

oh Ashe so sorry about your mom thoughts and prayers on the way! way easier said than done but I do hope you can rest a little bit over the next 3 days! Please at least try!

I'm sure your emotions are on the worst roller coaster of your life right now.  I pray that they find out what's the matter w/your mom and have a solution to keep her comfortable as long as possible...and maybe get her health in control.  I had to go back and read a few times re her blood pressure...I didn't know it could go that high!  I thought for sure I was reading the #s wrong.

As hard as it is...try to make sure you take care of you and the baby for the next few days.  Your mom's obviously important and you'll be there for her...but be there for you too.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom.  I hope that you will be able to destress somewhere in the mix of it all as you're now 2 days away from having your new little man.  Lots of hugs to you.
