Carpal tunnel, shortness of breath and the heeby jeebies
I had a lot of SOB, turned out my iron was pretty low.
I had a friend who didn't know she was pregnant (at age 42) and kept going to doctors for her SOB and carpal tunnel, both went away once the baby was born.

Dr is thinking more along the lines of pregnancy induced asthma... I did show her my hand and she thinks it is carporal tunnel and is 99% sure that it'll go away after delivery.
Thanks for hte info!

Well Liz, I am sorry to say that all of that is normal...LOL However, DO NOT ignore your body too much, because sometimes things like SOB are NOT normal...it can indicate high blood pressure and other things that can be harmful during pregnancy. Now the carpal tunnel unfortunately is normal, as when you are pregnant you retain fluid, and it can settle in your wrists...I had carpal tunnel and also pain in my elbows when I was pregnant, and unfortunately I was doing a ton of typing at work, so that made it worse. Unfortunately, no antiinflammatories when you are pregnant, but Tylenol is okay. Benadryl and the heeby jeebies does happen. I have had it turn on me when I took too much of it, and it is almost a restless leg syndrome, but it is all of your limbs..lol It sucks, but it does go away once it has worn off.
Take care of you, and do not totally tune out your body...because everything is not normal, so keep asking when you feel funky :)

Thanks Laura! I only wait it out so long before I call. I have a pretty good intuition and try to listen to it.
My blood pressure is actually low! It was 102/68 when I went last night, she re-checked it later when I was laying down and it was 100/70.
I can deal with the thumb/hand issues. I am getting a brace that I'll wear at night and see if that helps. I also tried propping it up last night and that helped some. Soon there isn't going to be room in bed for hubby once me and all my pillows are in there! lol
