Im in the hospital
Just like they say about after having WLS listen to your body. I almost thought I was over reacting and didn't go. I would have had a very little gut sitting in the NICU right now. I was already 2 cm dilated and crevix shorten by the time I arrived. But they stopped labor friday night . They aren't sure why I went into to labor. I am guessing the history of two other pre term ia probably likley. I guess my amniotic fluid level is high also and the pressure on my cervix was causing it to dilated. I won't know until I see the Peri. Monday. But for know everything is good.
I mostly just read what everyone else says on here but I thought it was worth letting the first time moms know why I even went to be seen. I was having lower back pain and mild ;period crampimg. Don't get me wrong I have back pain all the time like everyother pregnant women bu****ch out if the pain feels just a little different. It wasn't until I got to the hospital after the 45 min car ride that I started to feel contrax.
Well. wish mr luck I need to keep baking for another 4 weeks at least. I already got the steriod shot for lung maturation just in case next time they can't stop it. But I'll keep ya'll posted.

I am so glad you made it to the hospital in time for them to stop your labor. I had a 31 weeker, and he is 8 years old and fine now, other than being a little on the small side for his age. If you can make it to 36 weeks that would be awesome...but even at 32 weeks they give a fairly high survival rate at around 85%. My 31 weeker came out breathing and screaming on his own. Unfortunately they put CPAP on him (forced air into their lungs) and they blew a hole in one of his lungs...if they had left that off of him, he would have never have to be intubated and have chest tubes and everything they do with a collapsed lung. He still got to come home at 6 weeks old...he was just tiny still, not even 5 pounds. Just stay resting, and do what the doctor says, and you should do great. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
