# years today since my Banding.. I realise i'm pregnant
Hi Everyone
Its 3 years exactly since i got my Banding done. Yeah 5th Feb, 2007 i got it done.. I am down 63 kgs in all and it feels awesome.
Missed my period yesterday, did a home pregger test and its positive.. went to the doc, have to keep it to myself for now.. so no telling family and friends for about 2 months.
I dont plan to get an adjustment right now. I am eating good.. i take about 2 mugs of mil in the morning, that would be about 3/4th a litre. afternoon is one piece of chicken, a (soup) bowl of rice, yoghurt, some veggie. dinner is wheat chapati (yes i am fmor india so that is what we eat for dinner), 2 table spoons of cooked veggies, curd again.. around evening i try and take 10-15 almonds with raisins..
the doc says this is good enough, just keep eating something every 1-2 hrs.
Any comments anyone?

Well that sure didn't take long!!!
Just keep eating like you have been, the baby only uses about an extra 300 calories a day, so there's not much need to adjust unless you find yourself actually losing weight. Some weight loss during the first trimester is pretty common though.

Mom to two of the cutest boys on earth.
Congrats! I found on my 4th bandiversary that I was having my second band baby.
I didn't have my band loosened with either pregnancy and didn't have any trouble. After Hannah was born I had terrible reflux and had to get almost all of my fluid taken out. Noah is 8 days old. I've already woken up two or three times gagging on reflux. Needless to say an unfill is in my immediate future (I called yesterday, but the office was closed). Hopefully this time I won't need to have as much fluid taken out.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Congrats again and welcome to the board. I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months!
