IVF and Lapband

I am scheduled for the IVF Consult for Feb 15th. I am thinking about getting a small fill before we start this process. I am very loose right now and can eat a large quantity of food. I am thinking about having .5cc added. Do you think it would decrease my chances of IVF working?

I wouldn't think that having a tighter or looser band would make a difference in the chances of your IVF working. I would just think about if it does work, and you get pregnant and have morning sickness, you may need to get a little unfill then. So either way, I think it probably fine, just be ready to get an unfill if you need one. Good luck to you! I hope it goes well.

Thanks for your reply. I am just a little paranoid right now. I'm hoping that IVF will be the answer to our prayer of having a baby.

 

My advice is don't get a fill. I was on pills and injections for four IUI cycles and I am telling you that hormones can alter your restriction. If you are just going for a consult that is fine to get a fill. Speaking from my experience IVF medications regimen is harder than what I did.

im cycling in april  and before then im getting 2 more fills both my re and my surg think its a good idea ?!?! i dont know ..my last cycle resulted in dd the only pill i took was the size of a pea i think i can swallow that .. best of luck!!!!! you should join us on
