Little Scare Today

I stopped progesterone on Sunday and today had some dark spotting and cramping. I called my OB's office at 10:30am. Based on my losses last year, I was terrified. I waited until 1:50pm and couldn't handle it any longer so I called back to my OB. The nurse came on and said the OB said go back on the progesterone until your appointment on Tuesday and she will see you then. If you have bright red blood and heavy, go to ER.

I had remember my RE said he would be there for anything we needed during the nine months. If I was ever scared, call him and he would do an ultrasound. Well, I called my RE and they got me in for an ultrasound 15 minutes later (how long it took me to get there from work). My RE did an ultrasound and said everything looks perfect. The baby was squirming EVERYWHERE and moving arms and legs. The heartbeat was 167 bpm today. He showed me the spine, arms, legs, head, cord, and etc. He did a DVD for hubby and gave me about 12 pictures printed out.

So, I feel relieved obviously!!!

Oh TRACI, thank God!  I can't take a scare from you...LOL.  No seriously...my heart just fell when I first saw this title.  I am really invested in your outcome.  I pray for you guys every night.  I am SO GLAD everything is okay with your little baby.  I had bleeding, bright red and scary right when I turned 13 wks.  Baby was fine...I was not...i was freaked!  I still freak, even feeling her move around.  If she doesnt move where I can feel her for even 30 mins, I worry.  And obviously she has to nap!

But I know that God is there with you on this one.  I just feel it.  You and that baby are going to be fine.  Don't ask me how I know...I just do.  You hang in there, and keep positive(I know how hard that is)!

With Love & Prayers...Anne

Yes, it was scary!

Thank you for the prayers and positive thoughts. I know that prayers from many is what will get us through anything! I wake up every morning and say a prayer for the baby and before I go to bed.

I am so grateful that my RE is so supportive. I would have went INSANE having to wait until Tuesday!

Wow, what an awful scare!  I'm so glad that your RE was able to get you in right away and you could see your little baby squirming around.  Prayers continuing that you have uneventful days and weeks ahead now.

I'm glad your RE is so understanding.  One would have thought the OB would have been too, knowing what you've been through.  I pray this gets easier for you and that you will eventually be able to relax and enjoy the fact that you are pregnant.
