Will everything be o.k.?
I'm totally in shock!!!! So I went in today to get on birth control, and they tell me I can't cause I'm PREGNANT!!!!! What the hell!!! How in the world did this happen?? I'm about 6 weeks and only 5 months out of surgery! OMG! How stupid am I? I can't believe it. this is CRAZY!!! I feel bad cause my husband is super excited and he can't understand why I'm not stoked. I guess I'm just worried.
I got pregnant about the same time out from surgery as you did. I'm now 32 weeks along and everything is going great!
Take your vitamins and up your carb intake. I lost about 15 lbs in the beginning of my pregnancy, and have slowly just gained 14 lbs of that back over the past 7 months....so I'm still 1 lb lighter then when i first got pregnant!

You are definitely not the first one to get pregnant this soon after surgery. Many people are fine. I know that it's important to eat carbs so talk to your dietician about that ASAP. Congratulations! It's OK to be nervous. But it's also really good that your hubby is excited.

I got pregnnat only 3 months after surgery...and so far so good at 22 weeks. I started the pregnancy at 227, today I am weighing around 185/190....listen to your doctors and OB and all will be oaky! Congrats!
