I think seeing a nutritionist is a good idea... my daughter was before surgery and I was 400 lbs even I only gained 18 lbs with her. My problem was after I had her I gained 100+ in the first year. I had my surgery 12 days after she turned 1 and I was 519lbs then. You don't have to tell me if you don't wanna but how big exactly are ya? I know what you mean about pain. I was 400lbs+ working 50+ hrs a week on my feet while pregnant wither her. I don't know how I did it. this time around I was 412 when I get pregnant this time and only 4 months after surgery. I feel better sense I lost 166 lbs already 59 of which has been sense I found out I was pregnant. To top it off I got twins too this time. I just wish ya the best and send me a message if ya like. take care...

The good news if you think you have fibromyalgia is that it goes into "remission" when you are pregnant. I thought that was a bunch of bull for the first trimester cuz I still hurt like a son of a gun, but by about 15 weeks I was in hog heaven with how good I felt Fibro wise. I wish I could've felt like that ALL the time! Sadly, after delivery, my fibro came back full force. I was sad, but glad for the few months of respite I DID get while pregnant. Now that I've lost 250 pounds, my fibro is still here, just not as bad. My joints aren't screaming at me anymore! They just kind of whine every now and then, but nothing I can't handle. Haven't been able to find anything that ever helps it (except for Vioxx that was recalled years ago. That med worked GREAT!). Stretching and doing anything in the water is usually great for fibro in my experience! Warm water. Just don't do the spa type thing while pregnant though.
Good luck to you and just remember to eat a very healthy, balanced diet during your pregnancy and hopefully your weight gain will be held at a minimum.
