After 4 children, I've got a pretty good idea what our children will look like! LOL Our last baby boy looked exactly like his sister that is 3 years older than him. They look as much like twins as a boy and girl can.....lol Those 2 are my blondies. Then we have 2 brown haired children and our 3rd baby boy looks exactly as my husband did when he was little. We KNOW all of our children will have blue eyes since we both do and pretty much my whole family does.....lol I'm thinking this baby will be blonde as well since 2 of the 3 children that my hubby and I have had together are blonde. But I guess you never know til they are here. It IS fun to dream though! And boy do I LOVE those 3D/4D ultrasounds! We had one with our last baby at the maternal fetal medicine place and Noah looked EXACTLY like that picture. SO precious!

At my metal fetal meds they gave me a couple pics in 3D; but I am going to get the pics/cd on Feb. 15th..I could really tell in the ones we already had that she has her daddy's nose....I can't wait to see her again tomorrow in my ultrasound and then the 3D/4D one in just a few weeks...I will be 31 weeks and they say they really start to fill out then...

Thanks to everyone for sharing, this was a lot of fun to read everyone's thoughts...and day dreams about their lil ones to come...

I think I think about what my baby will look like more than my husband.  We haven't really had a conversation about it.  We have talked a little.  Since we both have darker hair, we expect the little one to have darker hair.  We both have blue eyes, so we think he/she will have blue eyes.
We went to a place called Dave and Buster's last week.  It is a restaurant with games for adults.  In there they had a booth that would take pics.  It took a pic of my husband and a pic of me and combined them to show us what our child would look like.  You had to choose which sex you wanted to see.  We did both.  I am not sure where are son came from, but of course he was a cutie.  Our daughter, they predicted, would look just like my 7 year old niece.  It was really neat.

Mostly my hubby & I talk about the traits we hope to pass along and the ones that the we don't want the baby to deal with. We are happy that the baby will certainly have both of our best features (we both have blue eyes). But I hope the baby has his eyelashes. You can't see mine at all without mascara. I hope the baby gets his lips but my teeth. The kid is doomed to have a large bum no matter how you look at it though
I thik I'll start to wonder more when I can feel the baby move. It still feels a little surreal like "am I really pregnant?" since I can't feel the baby.
My hubby laughs at me because I am so obsessed with feeling how much bigger my uterus feels. But that's the only thing I got right now (0:

Mommy to 2 of the most beauiful little girls in the whole universe and still in love with my hubby of 8 years. LIFE IS GOOD!

Sure--- I dreamed all the time about what my kids would look like. I would've lost every bet though- I ended up with a brunette, a blonde and a red head! LOL My friend Kelly is in a interracial relationship and her daughter looks like her husband (darker skin) and her son looks like her (very light)

Have fun dreaming but the most fun is the surprise. You and hubby will spend hours picking out features that the baby has from everyone in the family- and those memories I will cherish forever.

All the best to you =o)

hELLO....

My husband is black also and we have two children together. My son is 9 now and he has an olive skin tone to him(I am pretty white, lol) his hair has a nice curl to it. I just had a baby girl 4 months ago. Now both her and my son  were born white...I mean white, no hint of olive at all. By 2 yrs old my son started getting a litle darker. It's so funny how my daughter looks like she will follow the same path as him. Her hair I think will have curls but not as tight as my son's!! I was just like you and wondering. I can't believe how my son and daughter were born so light. Take Care and enjoy your little one!!

Hugs,
Shannon
