Jessica Wenzel

Jessica was active on this board about 4 years ago when she was pregnant with Jackson after her RNY.  In fact this board is where she and I met. We were both pregnant at the same time. Just wanted to let those who still lurk/active her that she passed away this morning from lupus and some other non wls medical issues.  Not sure what services will be yet.

Tammy...my heart is aching. I've not been on here for a long while and certainly not what I expected to see. I know you have tons of support, but I'm here too if you need. Are there arrangements for where Jackson will go. That poor little boy, my heart just breaks.

Tammy posted on another board where Jess was a member that Jess's brother and sister-in-law have custody of Jackson.  From what Tammy said, they are great people and doing a great job stepping in for him.  I can't even believe this news. Like you, I'm not on OH much and was shocked by the news.

In case you are wondering how I stumbled across this post- I'm pregnant with twins (due in July). Crazy, I know.

MICHELE!!!! OMGOSH!! congrats!! Twins???? I remember the board and haven't been there since I think when I had Sydnie!!  Didn't know you were even thinking more kids. Last I saw was the wedding pics. Oh so happy for you!!! Boys, girls, both???

Yeah- the twin thing was a bit of a surprise.  My only child (Spence) graduates in May- so it's interesting to get my arms around the baby thing.  My husband doesn't have any kids, so we decided to try....  ironically, I never took any fertility drugs or invitro because I was terrified of having mulitples.

I am 17 weeks right now, will have an ultrasound next week and am desperately hoping to find out the gender of these little hoodlums.  I am thinking lots of pink thoughts that at least one of them is a girl. 

I rarely get on the other board either.  Hope all is well with you!

I'm so happy to hear Jackson is in a good place. I have such a soft spot for kids that it truly saddens me.

Oh Tammy!

I am so, so sorry. I do remember you and Jess both being very active on here during your pregnancies. Infact I remember when she moved out to Utah and thinking what a great move that was for her. I am sure you are heartbroken as are us oldtimes that remember her.

You are in my thoughts, as is she.

Since Colby is 2 1/2 I don't post here much, I only lurk.  But I had to post today to say how very sorry I am for your loss.  I remember when Jess and Jackson moved out to Utah to be near you. I know she was a good friend to you and my heart aches for your loss.  Please know you and her family are in my prayers.  Please keep us updated on services and how Jackson is.
