My ER visit

I was out of town this weekend visiting the in laws about 80 miles away from home. We went out to dinner and had to park a few blocks away. Well, it was dark and rainy and I tripped and fell down pretty hard. I was scraped up and freaked out about the baby, so I went to the ER. I couldn't stop worrying about the baby and I knew it was my only way to get peace of mind. They took me up to labor and delivery cause I was close enough to 20 weeks. They tried finding the heartbeat on the dopplar and had a hard time which they usually do. Finally she found it but it was really faint and then she'd lose it again. So they did a quick ultrasound and checked on the baby and he/she looked fine. They took my blood pressure and it was high, it was 167/79 but they think it was because I was so worried and nervous. They took some blood to make sure that there weren't any signs of the placenta seperating and it all checked out good. I am so relieved that the baby is ok. I have my big ultrasound scheduled for Thursday, but I couldn't have waited that long to make sure the baby was ok. Anyway, it was scary but all is well.

Yeah, I had to get checked out. I worry enough as it is.

That sounds like a very scary experience.  I am glad that you and baby are okay.
