Dr Appointment Today!

Well we went to see if our lil puffin was going to show what he/she is....guess not.  The heartbeat stays at 150 everytime we go, he/she was moving all around, sucking on hands, kicking feet, and let me tell you...this lil one is ALL LEGS! I got a feeling hes gonna be really tall!

Baby is healthy and I go back in 3 weeks for the 18 w work up.  I asked about all the tests that check for disabilities and all that my Dr. asked me "if you find out your child has down syndrome will you terminate?" when i replied with no, he said that the tests sometimes come back with false positives and they are really only there to protect the dr.  So i decided againts anything that would stress me out further but I sill have until 2-19-10vto make up my mind.

Im really glad I got to see the baby!  I cant wait until the next appointment!  I swear its weird I look forward to seeing the dr now!

so glad that all is going well! I hope that the baby shows you the goods at your next appt.

At my last US the Dr told me it's a good thing I didn't want to know because the baby is "jet propelled" lol

I'm glad to hear that all went well and baby is doing good. Hopefully next ultrasound he/she will show it's stuff so you can know.

I'm glad everything's looking good - even if you still are having 'a surprise' and don't know the gender.

Honestly...I like your dr's approach re the tests.  To me, too many drs push for the tests no matter what, regardless of whether you'd do anything about it.

If you're really wanting to know if you're having a boy or girl, I hope your little one cooperates more on your next u/s.

I REALLY wanna know if hes a she or shes a he!!  Lol. Just so I can go buy baby stuff.  I guess if we dont get to find out its ok.  Its not like its gonna change at this point.  LOL.

I love my DR!  I think he is the best there is!  When I have a problem, I page him and he will literally call back in less than 4 mins.  (yes, I timed him once) He has a great bedside manner and is just all around a great guy!  (has 5 kids of his own, one set of twin girls)
