Contraction question

I've been getting some pains in my stomach and I'm a little nervous that they could be contractions. I never got any with my daughter until the induced me and I was already in the hospital and knew what it was. I can't really find information online that makes me feel comfortable in thinking they're not contractions for sure. I thought I'd ask here.
They aren't regular but I have some pain in my lower stomach, my stomach has a lot of extra padding so I am not sure if I could feel hardening of my uterus well or not. It usually goes away if I rest. I don't feel like walking or standing when I get this pain. There is no change in any kind of discharge or anything else.
Could this just be gas or round ligament pain? I really don't want to think I'm getting contractions already, that is just too early and scary.

Its possible it could be round ligament pain, just check on it.  Ask your dr.  Good Luck!  I hope you feel better.  RLP is nothing serious.

It could also be Braxton Hicks contractions.  They say you can tell if they go away when you rest, and if they aren't regular.  I had them, and they're harmless.  Ask your doc, but that's what I'd bet on.

I have gotten a few B&H and while they don't  hurt depending on my position they can be a bit uncomfortable. If I sit or lay down on my left side they go away. Also make sure that you are getting enough water - that can contribute!
