I went to the doctors yesterday and she told me because I have Andenomyosis I can not have any children. I have done research on line and it does not say it is impossible and also other doctors that know my situation has not said that...but this was a fertility clinic at Kaiser. Now she has just killed my hopes. She also said I have small ovaries and that it meant I am low on eggs, well isint possible that I could have always had small ovaries? Has anyone experienced anything similar? There is a lot more to this but it would be too long. The last thing I will mention is she told me the ectopic pregnancy I had a year and four months ago could have been caused by the adenomyosis, HUHIT DID NOT EVEN GET THROUGH MY TUBE. HOW COULD THAT BE RELATED??? THE ADENOMYOSIS HAS TO DO WOTH MY UTERUS...

ANY REPLIES WOULD BE GREAT!!! I AM SO CONFUSED AND SAD

I have this, and have had it since high school, I was told numerous time I probably would not have children. I have 3 children.  3 months before I became pregnant with this little blessing, the doctors told me I would no longer be able to have children. My husband and I took their word for it and low and behold I was pregnant three months later. I was told that I not only did I have andenomyosis  my ovaries were also covered with cyst. I discussed this diagnoses with my favorite OB after I became pregnant and she told me that the adenomyosis would not make it impossible to have children. There is a great book, Women's Herbal Health,  and it discusses herbs and Vitamins. I really think it helped. By the way when they did an ultrasound at 14 weeks along, the cysts where gone.

Thank you so much for your reply, I feel more hope to hear someone has had the same thing and become pregnant. Thank you

I will also check that book out that you mentioned. I think I am going to go ahead and get the procedure to get my falliopian tube opened and hope and pray for the best.

thank you again your reply meant a lot.

I don't have andenomyosis, but I had a tumor that attached to my fallopian tubes, and I was told when that tumor was removed that I would never be able to have kids.  Doctors lie.  This is pregnancy #2.  I don't think you have to give up hope just because one person says it isn't possible.  I personally believe it's up to God, not any doctor.  I hope that you are able to have a child someday!
