EXTREAME fatigue
I had my surgery back in June and I can still barely eat much of the food that I'm supposed to with this unexpected pregnancy. I'm taking vitamins, folic acid, b6, and low dose asprin (for prevention or helpfulness of toxemia). Before my surgery during the 2 week pre-op test I found out i have problems with low blood sugar. Since my surgery I only had a low sugar attack (like it was in the 90s though, but still felt the afterwave of it), and the my ob had really no concern on diabetes since i saw him a few weeks ago. This pregnancy has been pretty blissful compared to my other two pregnancies except that I find myself having to eat every couple of hours or I'll get really sick to my stomach. But the exhaustion is really, really overpowering me. Its so bad that during my lunch break for work that I eat half my lunch and I fall asleep at the table (subways table), almost everytime. I am barely able to function at work, home, and now I find today that after not eating for like 6 hours as I had a business meeting to attend, that my sugar dropped down to a 68! I just got a promotion as manager at my work, but already thinking about quitting or something as I can barely keep myself going 1/2 through the day. does this sound like a iron or something defficiency? should i call my dt. with concern?
I would definately have the OB or your surgeon pull a full metabolic panel. I am 3 years out and 23w5d pregnant and dragging butt - well the labs reflected SEVERAL things that need to be addressed. It can't hurt! Oh and I barely functioned the first 13 weeks - I felt like I could fall asleep at any second! It did get better around week 14 and is just recently returning.
Feel better!

Just like Liz said I was exhausted my first trimester. Took naps 2x's a day and it was like the worst tired ever. After week 14/15 it sort of just disappeared. Hope that gives you something to shoot for.
