Anyone have issues with gaining weight..... I know that sounds like a not so bad problem to have but I am worried about the baby.... I am eating 7 meals a day plus 2 snacks during the night.... any ideas?

I had barely gained any weight by 20 weeks, like 2-3 pounds.  But trust me, by my 26th week visit, I got on the scale and BAM- 10 lbs gained since my last visit a month ago!  My doc says it's normal to gain a big amount around that time, about 7-15 lbs.   Trust me, when that baby really starts growing (weight-wise) close to the 3rd trimester, you will be gaining weight.   I've gaine 17 lbs so far and am very happy with that.

Hit goal weight of 140 at 13 months out from RNY!! 130 pounds GONE!

I am almost 3 years out and I lost 10lbs at first and then I didn't start gaining until after 20 weeks. I am due in just 4 days and I've gained a total of 20lbs. I wouldn't worry about not gaining much weight. The baby will get what it needs. Some people even lose while baby keeps gaining :)

I only gained 2 lbs my entire pregnancy.   My ob said as long as your eating healthy, eating plenty, drinking your water, taking your vitamins and your LO is growing on target I wouldn't worry.

I conceived my daughter within months of my surgery (naughty naughty I know) and I continued to lose weight throughout the entire pregnancy...didn't put on a pound...in fact was 40 pounds lighter by the end of it.  The doctors were not concerned and I had a perfect baby.  I don't know that I'd worry too much...as long as you are eating a healthy diet the rest will fall in to place!

With my son I gained 35 pounds and then never really lost it. That being said I gained 10 pounds with the surrogate baby and then went down to about 168 after that. With my daughter I started at 168 and gave birth at  39 weeks and 172! No problems and she was 7 pounds! (now i am up to 177 - go figure)
As long as the baby is growing normally you are fine not to gain weight. Be careful though cause it can catch up with you cause I had only gained 10 pounds by the 3rd trimester with my son and the last 3 months really packed it on!
Good luck and Congrats!

I know I am late responding but I am glad that you wrote this.  I am 15 weeks and I have'nt gained any weight at all.  I actually lost five pounds during my first trimester becaseu I was so sick all of the itme.  My doc told me not to worry.  I may gain late or not at all.  As long as the baby is developing then everything is fine.  I heard the heartbeat at my last appointment so that put my mind at ease.
