No baby today
I had my OB appointment and my BP was great (118/80). I had also lost 6 or 7 pounds since Thursday. My feet and legs are not nearly as swollen, so I know it was all fluid. I turned in a 24 hour urine test and they took some more blood. I should know tomorrow the results of that.
I'm still on bed rest and my next appointment is Friday. I can't eat or drink anything again before the appointment just in case. Dr. said it won't take much at this point to cut the cord (I love her sense of humor).
I also talked to her about tying my tubes. The hospital I deliver at won't allow the Dr.s to do it unless there is a medical reason for no more babies (Catholic hospital). She thinks that I've had enough complications to qualify. Originally, Hubby was going to have a vasectomy. He's already used almost all of his sick time taking care of his parents (who are both still in the hospital). I don't think he was real thrilled with the idea of having it done, so this will be his way of avoiding it. If I can't have it done during the c-section I will have to wait 6 weeks and then have another surgery. I plan on breastfeeding, and the thought of pumping and dumping even for 24 hours kills me!
I've always only wanted two children so I know that our family will be complete. I hate to even write this, but with some of the decisions my hubby has been making lately I'm not for sure our marriage will survive.
Thanks for reading if you made it this far!

Hi Amy.
I am going through a something similar. My husband is military and they are always pushing me to have my tubes tied during my c-section, and last time I did not, but this time I really think I am. I have 2 boys and I LOVE them dearly, and I believe I am pregnant now (or will be in the near future), and I really think 3 is enough. I want a girl, but I will be happy with a boy as well. My family will be complete.
I am sorry to hear about you and your husband having marriage problems. I wish you the best of luck!
Michele

((((hugs))))) Amy. I know this has got to be such a stressful time. Especially being on bedrest, having Hannah to tend to, and also with your husband being gone and top that with two ailing parents (in law) and that would be stress for any marriage. I hope things work out and little Noah is here safe and sound soon.
I am glad your blood pressure and swelling is down. At least he gets a little extra time to get healthy in there!
I just want to say that you are going through a lot right now. Your hubby is an only child dealing with two sick parents! You have Hannah and then being on bed rest. Things are highly stressful right now. Use the time with your parents to relax and destress and prepare for your new arrival!
We are all here for support!
