37 week update

I'm on bed rest now.  My BP was high (146/100).  No signs of pre-eclampsia.  Noah is great.  Had a NST and an ultrasound.  He's measuring in at 6lbs 14 oz. 
It's been a crazy couple of weeks.  My in-laws are in separate hospitals and my hubby is and only child.   I was still trying to work full time and do everything around the house (not to mention chase after a 23 month old lol).  I guess it caught up with me.  

  Right now I'm living with my Mom and Dad, since my husband can't be here to help with Hannah.  I'm very thankful to have them ,but it's hard going back home!

I go the Dr. Monday morning.   She told me not to eat or drink anything before my appointment in case we end up doing the c-section right then.  I go to the Dr. twice a week now.  She said there wasn't much chance of me making it to my scheduled date (Feb 8th).

 Hopefully, my husband will be there for the birth of our child.  To say I'll be disappointed if he isn't there is an understatement.

Hannah is loving the arrangements right now.  She's got the grandparents wrapped around her finger and I'm able to snuggle and watch cartoons with her all day.  

I had a baby shower yesterday.  I stayed in the recliner with my feet propped up most of the time.  I did get up long enough to open presents and have a couple of belly shots taken.

I may be meeting my little man in less than 24 hours!  

Here I am at 37 weeks 1 day.


 

Glad that your little man is doing OK and I hope that they'll do your section tomorrow and you can meet your little man! AND that your hubby gets to be there for it!

That is similar to what happened to me with my daughter. I was almost 37 weeks and my blood pressure went to 148/110 and I was on bed rest the rest of the weekend until Monday when I turned 37 weeks then I was induced. You just might see your little baby tomorrow!!!! Good luck to you!!!

I was actually pretty suprised that they didn't go ahead and do the c-section.  I was just one day shy of being 37 weeks.   I think it will happen this week for sure.

I've been thinking of you!! I'm glad you were able to go to your parents and have help with Hannah... I hope the in-laws get better soon.... I know it must be rough on your husband to have them both in the hospital- seperate ones at that! Worrying about you!

I'm glad Noah is looking good! Good luck with your appointment tomorrow- hopefully you have your bag packed!

Is someone going to keep Zachary for you or is hubby going to stay home with him at night?
