Please help

OK as many of you know I went to the er with major stomach pains on the 15Th and they thought they felt a hernia and come to find out after an xray it is a baby. well they gave my a script for prenatal and a list of Ob's and sent me home well the pain is so bad I went back to er last night and ended up in labor and delivery for a day and had so many test done and still no one knows what is causing this pain I was sent home with pain meds witch are not working. I am in so much pain the meds are not working and I don't know how much more I can take. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this pain I was told that at this point in my pregnancy my organs have all moved up to make room for growing baby and it might be something pushing against an incision and that may be causing the irritation in my stomach does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong? I cant keep any food down and my surgeon wants to admit me to hosp but I have no one to take care of my girls right now I don't know what to do I am in so much pain and I know something is wrong but what it is I cant say. My pain is in the upper left side of my stomach does anyone have any ideas the labor and delivery Dr said baby is fine and pain has nothing to do with pregnancy please if you have any ideas let me know.

Do you still have your gallbladder?  I am not sure just a thought.

No I had it taken out about 13 years ago I was only 15 when it went bad on me. I am scared that the er Dr is right and it is the baby pushing against my incision I almost hope it is something else because if it is that then there is nothing that can be done except pain control and the pain meds are not working and it scares me to take anything stronger than Tylenol even though I was told the pain meds would not effect my baby it still scares me.

I have had upper left side pain (just below my ribs) for a few weeks now.  It doesn't hurt extremely bad but it is always there.  My surgeon said that if I weren't pg he would test to see if I had an obstruction since what I described is symtomatic of one.  Both OB and surgeon are leary of me getting x-rays during pregnancy so I have my fingers crossed for now.  I was advised that if my pain gets extreme to go to the ER. 

With that said, my surgeon said it could also be just gas pains too.

I did find it odd that within a minute or two she created two posts one about her excrutiating pain and then one hoping she gets a cute baby bump so she can take pics.  I thought if I were in her pain I would not be thinking about my baby belly but hey that is just me.  

I was skeptical but still replied.  lol I must be gullible.
