Anyone accidentally and while on birth control?

Also posted on the sex forum. I am having a scare. Probably for nothing. But I am having a scare.

I am on nuvaring.

I am almost 5 months post-op.

I'm not on antibiotics or anything.

The boyfriend usually does not finish inside me. We don't use condoms. And I am on nuvaring. But just to be extra safe. He usually pulls out.

Well the last few times he hasn't pulled out. Has finished inside of me.

I haven't had any nuvaring sideeffects. This is my 3rd month on it.

But now... my breasts are very tender. They HURT. I am feeling nauesous. The smells of certain foods make me want to vomit. My stomach is feeling weird and crampy. And I had a baby dream the other night.

I have been pregnant before. It feels like this. I have baby dreams. Nauesa. Tenderness. I have one child. But I've been pregnant 3 times. Miscarriage before my daughter. Ectopic after her.

Nuvaring must be just kicking in with side effects at an inconvenient time. But it's freaking me out.

It's too early to take a test or anything like that. I am just spazzing I think. I know it is very extremely extremely unlikely that I'm actually pregnant. I would just die. And it's not safe this early out either.

I know that nuvaring should be 99.9% effective. It's not like the pill when I can forget to take it. Or forget to take it at the same time or something. I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

But I am still freaking.

I think I just need reassurance that it's probably nothing. Inconvenient timing of side effects.

I mean the odds that I could be pregnant are slim to none. 

But that isn't making me feel any better right now!

Your right - the odds are low but it isn't impossible. IF you are pregnant you can still have a healthy baby even early out. it isn't recommended but things do happen.

 I'm one of the statistics.  I got pregnant while on the Evra patch and I wasn't on any antibiotics and there wasn't a gastrointestional absorption issue since it was a dermapatch.  

i got preggo on nuva ring but had a miscarriage.  wait it out and test.

hahaha I'm going to scare you - got preggo TWICE with the NovaRing (once with my twins, and once now!)

I got pregnant on birth control.  At first I was completely scared.  My divorce is not final yet and it  just seemed like now was not at all the time.  After a few days I realized that things happen for a reason and I now just feel blessed.  No matter what the outcome is, your feelings are normal and you can find support here from others that have gone through the same thing.

I got pregnant with my first child on the pill and no I wasn't on antibiotics or any of the things they warn you about.....It can happen.  Good luck!

Women are EXTREMELY fertile (or can be) after GBS. If you're not pregnant this time, use a secondary birth control method until you are at least a year out. I'm having a hard time being pregnant almost 3 years out. I couldn't imagine what it would be like at 5 months out. Use one of those early tests if you can because if you are pregnant, you want that nuvaring out ASAP. You'll also want prenatal care ASAP as well because you will need vitamin changes and bloodwork done. I hope you get the result you want.
