Pouch running out of room?

Okay...so I have noticed the last week or so, that I cannot hardly eat anymore.  I mean, I never had aLOT of room after surgery...I still eat on a tea plate and never finish even half of that, but this is getting crazy.  Now I take about 3 or 4 bites, and I am so full I think I am gonna hurl what I ate.

Is the baby pressing on my pouch?  Or is it just me?

I vote for baby on pouch. Why?...personal experience. When I eat sometimes, I can clearly feel her bulging out higher up under my rib cage/diaphragm..about where our tummies should be (I hope I explained that well) and after about 30-40 min the bulging goes away. What I have noticed helps a little, at least for the about to hurl feeling, is sit straight up when eating or lean back a little. For some reason it relieves the pressure a little that she places on my pouchie.

Great advice!  Yeah, I thought it was her.  She is very long, I think.  She loves to sit up in my ribs and smack my lungs with her hands and kick my cervix with her feet.

Well...it will keep the weight gain down.

Well... I don't have a pouch (My surgery was done incorrectly and was about to have a revision when I found out I was preggers....) However....... for the past several weeks I can barely eat much... the baby is taking up a lot of room. Hubby and I went out to dinner tonight and I took a few bites and thought I was going to hurl.

So...... it's not just you!

When I was pregnant with my daughter, before WLS, I remember being so far along and then not being able to eat as much in one sitting. The baby was big enough that it was squishing my stomach, so I assume it's doing that to you. That's something I'm a little concerned about this time around though, cause I have a band. I hope it doesn't pu**** and make it slip out of place.

It's funny you posted this!  I was just talking to my husband today about how I feel like I can't eat much b/c there's no room.  I think my boy is getting big!

not just you! I'm a few weeks behind you and I get this feeling from time to time. It helps if I eat standing up. So dinner is usually at the kitchen counter, I'm eating alone anyway so what the heck!

Its ongoing now.  The weird thing is, I would swear sometimes she is sitting very low.  How in the world can she influence the pouch?  She loves to kick me in the bladder and very rarely in the ribs.  Oh well...the joys of pregnancy!!!  Wouldnt miss it for the world!
