Ultrasound Pictures in Profile

I uploaded my ultrasound pictures in my profile for those that want to see them. There isn't much to see at 8 1/2 weeks but I was still excited to upload them. The RE makes video's of each ultrasound so the video is much better as you see things more clearly and see the heart beating throughout the video.

If you want to look - feel free.

Those are GREAT SHOTS!! Thanks for sharing!!

I wish that my office would record the US - I'd love to show it to my family, but they aren't that advanced.

I'm going - GIRL! :)

Well, we will see what my OB's office is like. ThHese were from my RE's office so of course they are high tech! I have now graduated from my RE to my OB. I see the OB nurse for my first appointment on Tuesday.

Well, I will look forward to that.  Liz - I know you had a pap done at your OB after you were pregnant. Did the OB do it or the NP? I am just trying to prepare myself for Tuesday. I know they will be asking a bunch of questions, family history, etc. I just wasn't sure if I should be prepared for a pap. I figured my OB would do it when I see versus at the nurse visit.

You got it! The nurse visit at my OB (around 8-9 weeks) was all questions and paperwork. Mine is in an office - nurse sits at her desk and there were chairs for me. Then I saw the OB around 10 weeks and she did the PAP and internal exam, breast exam and felt my belly. IT was really just like a yearly appt. My OB's rule is that if you are due for your PAP before the end of the pregnancy that they do it at your first appt. So last year I had 5! lol A necessary evil I suppose. Now appts are routine - urine sample, blood pressure, weight, listen for the heartbeat (BEST part!) and questions. I don't know if they'll do anything differently next time, I'll be almost 25 weeks then. (WOW!)

Good luck tuesday!

Aww...look at your little bean.  I had to go back and look at my 8 week pictures when I saw yours.  The thing that struck me most about mine was comparing the size of the baby to the yolk sack.  I couldn't believe how much it changed in just a week.  Amazing!

The first 12 weeks seemed like they took 12 years but now things are moving...including baby!

Enjoy it all and try not to worry too much!  Celebrate all the milestones!

Thanks, Sarah! Yes, we are trying to just enjoy each little step we make it to. It is AMAZING to compare my 6 week 4 day ultrasound with my 8 week 5 day ultrasound!

I just look forward to getting to the first big hurdle that 13 week mark. Then, I will get to enjoy each milestone after that point.
