Help Please

Hello Ladies! I once again turn to you guys for some help.

Little background ,, Had my last Period 12/14/09
Had some light brown spotting on 15th last about 5 hours but only when I wiped none on pad none on panties.

Took a test on the 19th got a line wasn't very dark but wasn't light so I was safe to assume that it was positive I would be around 5 weeks or so

Went to the Doctor yesterday did in internal scan and there was no sac no nothing.  I am so confused. The doctor didn't draw my blood but told me to come back next wed to do another internal exam and if there is nothing again she will draw my blood to check my levels.

I am going to be as patience as I can .. but I need some insight.  Did I get a false positive?  Was it to early to see anything??

Well it could be 2 things that come to mind immediately.

1) too early to see anything. You may have ovulated later then you think - even a few days make a HUGE difference right now

2) blighted ovum the body thinks that you are pregnant. Conception and implantation occur but no baby forms. I had this happen in June, I was 11 weeks and when I went for my ultrasound there was only a small empty sack. I don't want to scare you but it is a scenario.

I would call and speak with your nurse and ask if the would please do a HCG blood draw. Also have you tested since last time??

You may have ovulated late and it could be very early before you see anything. Good Luck.

First, do you have normal cycles every single month? How many days are your cycles and when do you normally ovulate.

I would ask for a blood test to test HCG level for tomorrow (Friday) and a repeat on Monday. That way you will be able to see if your numbers are doubling.

Also, it would early to really see anything. My doctor won't do an ultrasound until 6 1/2 weeks.

I am trying to stay hopeful but don't want to get my hopes up to high just yet.

To answer a few of your guys questions.

I am currently living in Morocco and things out here are so complicated lol I haven't taken another test just yet going to test again on Friday.  The doc said she would draw blood next week at my appointment.  I wanted to get it done right then and there yesterday but she said its better to wait a week.  So I am pretty much doing what I am told :-) 

I have a reg 31 day cycle had a miscarriage in November and had my first period exactly 31 days later in Dec.

I keep going to the bathroom every 10 mins just to check to see if there is any spotting lool

All I can do at this point is pray :-) 

Thanks again .. I think I just needed to hear "it might be to early to see anything" to help calm me.

 

I was spotting and went to the ER at around 5 weeks and they saw nothing, not even a sac.  Then a week later there was a little tiny heartbeat.  Now I'm 27 weeks preggo.  All hope is not lost!  Good luck!

It might be a little early...Hang in there and wait til next week.  It's only a few more days now...and Insha'allah, you'll get to see your little one by then.  A few days at this point can make a tremendous difference.  At about 6-6 1/2 weeks, you should  be able to see/hear a heartbeat.

I'll be praying this is it for you!

I am trying to stay positive and think good thoughts but at the same time not get my hopes up ... harder said then done .. But I am leaving it in allahs hands and if its meant to happen it will happen :-)
