Question about eating...or maybe its grazing...and pic!
So since starting back classes Monday my schedule has gotten more intense and therefore I have been hungrier. Now being that we can't eat much I have been finding myself kinda grazing or maybe better explained as extended meals. Like today I had a boiled egg and a slice of toast at 8:30, around 11:30 I got a burrito from the cafe and bought it home and was eating it while on the computer (on like a 12 in wrap so I only took half to eat). I ate half of the half at first then like 30 min later I ate a few more bites and like 30 min after that I finished it off. That seems like grazing to me and I am scared its going to become a bad habit....but at the same time lately I get full after a few bites (only eating like 3oz of food again) so this is the only way I am able to get a good amount of calories and stuff into my day.
So my question is...is this a bad thing? Should I stop this and try to only eat every 2 hrs or so? And this is a weird question...how can I add more carbs in my day? I seem to be on a health cycle and havent been eating much of them...just liking bell peppers and broccoli.
And heres munchkin butt at 26 weeks. I am apparently really starting to show and it is more obvious to others.

My high risk ob who is handling my sugar part said to eat every two hours, but when we realized that didn't give me enough food, the extended meals as you mentioned was the solution. I have gain a good bit of weight, actually doubled in the past 8 weeks; however, for some reason none of the dr. bring this up as an issue..."it's normal" but I have gained over 20 pounds and basically the same place you are....
Good luck...Stacey

You look great!!!
I am eating the same way you are - feels like I constantly eat because I can only eat a little bit at a time. Unfortunately I want white bread with whipped butter and chocolate cake! lol I do track my food intake and I am right around the calories/protein that they want me at. I am still down weight since my BFP so no one is worried. I'll start worrying if I get to 20 pounds above that number HA! Oh and I am 23 weeks tomorrow

I eat all the time. Like every hour. You are still early out of your surgery, so I think that may be the only way you can get all your calories in right now.

Hey..cute baby bump! I find myself eating the same way. You pretty much have to in order to get the nutrition that you need. Also, as you get a little further along, everything is going to be so compressed that you will probably be able to eat even less at a sitting.
Try not to worry about it too much. You just need to focus on keeping you and the baby healthy. Afterwards, you can really get back to focusing on the WLS guidelines.
Take care,

Yes I have noticed this starting to happen. I will eat sometimes and she will be sitting high up and I will notice that I am full quite fast (like 3 oz) and it will make me an uncomfortable full.
I am not worried about weight gain though thankfully because to this day I still have yet to gain a pound. Started out at 199 lbs and last checked I was 167lbs. My OB is actually getting on me to gain a few pounds (she would like a minimum of 15 but I think I am going to disappoint her).
