As for the weight gain, you are human, and I am certain that even if they would not admit it most of us worry about gaining weight, and mostly about losing it afterwards. We work so hard to get where we are and the idea of putting pounds back on vs losing is a tough thing to deal with mentaly. I know I struggle with it and mine was a more than planed pregnancy. I just know that I took it off once I can do it again.
Good luck and I hope that you find the peace and answers you are looking for.

Oh Jewels, I hope you have people around you to talk with and who will support you. I understand how you may have these feelings, I do but you must embrace this baby now that you know (even if you decide to give this life up to someone who wants to be a mom more than anything else in the world). It is not his/her fault that you had sex and conceived them. I'm one of those people who believes the baby can feel what you are feeling . . . so give this blessing a chance on being loved and happy. This may be the boy to complete your family.
Don't know what type of BC you were on. With the RNY and its malabsorbtion, pills are NOT efficient enough - you would need to use a barrier method too especially early pre-op when malabsorbancy is at its peak.
Good Luck,
Leila
