I am worried because I am only 7 months post op, and I have a lot more weight to lose. Has anyone gotten pregnant this early, and was everything ok?

How sure are you that you're pregnant?  Is it from funky cycles?  If so those are quite common after surgery as the amounts of hormones are in flux after surgery and it can take time to straighten out.  If you're having pregnancy symptoms...have you tested and when is your period due?

Regardless you'll be ok.  Most likely if you are pregnant your surgeon will have you up your eating to something every few hours (not just for more calories but to help maintain steady blood sugars), you'll switch from a multi to a prenatal (most likely 2x the reg dose), super B complex, b12, and calcium (1500mg) a day.  You'll also most likely be sent to a high risk ob/gyn for monitoring.

I've met plenty of women here who got pregnant 'too soon' and had healthy babies.  Relax...you'll be ok.  :)

I'm 1 year out and still had 30 pounds to lose.

I think we're going to be okay.  :)

I got pregnant at 3 months out....and although its not ideal, a good OB and keeping in touch with your surgeon will ensure a safe and healthy pregnancy!

ood luck and congrats in you are!
