I am so sorry for your loss! Thoughts and prayers sent your way.

I think you have said that you have had multiple miscarriages. If so, while you are waiting for your 18 months out from surgery, maybe in a few months you should take the time to get some tests to see what might be causing your miscarriages. That way when you are ready to start TTC again, you might have some insight on what you might need to take if you do become pregnant again (i.e. progesterone, aspirin, etc).

Thanks for your kind words:)
This is my 2nd miscarriage..my first was when I was at my highest weight of 298 and had been diagnosed with infertility due to my weight, so after losing over 130 lbs, I thought this time would be okay, but maybe my body just isn't ready after all the surgeries I've had recently..I had RNY in March of 2009, another small procedure in October of 2009 and a hernia repair in Dec. of 2009 which is also when I got pregnant(later that month).  I am going to my OB/GYN on Wednesday and will speak with her about looking into why this is happening.  Both times the egg implanted, but never went any further than that for some reason.   Hopeful that we will figure out the problem and get it resolved:)

I thought your previous miscarriage was recent. I am so sorry! Everyone runs together sometimes. At least you are being proactive and going to the OB.

I wish you tons of baby dust that when you are able to try again, it happens and you have a super sticky bean.
