Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

I'm in the 2WW now.  Unfortunatley for me, my luteal phase is 16-17 days.  UGH, sure makes waiting very hard.  Enjoying life and working on debt pay off while we are TTC.  Also, looking at moving into a large apartment in preparation for the baby we know is going to be here one day.

I have been cleared by the doctor to start trying again!!!

Good luck.  I hope your other meds are working and you're getting into a happier place mentally (though you will still have hard days).  I'll be praying to see your BFP soon!

Thanks Holly. I am in a much better place. I started therapy Monday and talked to someone on Sunday that helped things soooooo much.

CD 26 today.  Didn't do any temping or anything this month because of the move...but am doing my drug regimine in the hopes that we caught the right time.  I'm thinking I O'd around CD 15 or so (which would be about right for me), and will give it another week w/the progesterone before I test.

AF due today. Hopefully she won't show!

I've been using an OPK but have to keep it secret otherwise dh gets
"performance anxiety!"   

So, I don't know if this'll be our month or not. If I don't start this weekend; i'll test Monday - geez, what a long weekend it's gonna be.

TTC #1 since 7/05.  On Femara.  I'm going in on cd 11 (Sunday) for a follicle check and to see when I'm suposed to take the trigger shot.
