first trimester bleeding?

Has anyone else had this where they would bleed a dark brown for a few hours and then stop.  It has happened to me twice now 2-3 weeks apart. The first time was likely due to sex but the latest I don't know.  I am 9 weeks and 3 days and am having an Ultrasound today to make sure everything is alright, but it makes me nervous. 

yes.  I'm 24 weeks now.  But I had bleeding my entire first trimester.  It only got heavy once but for the most part it was light bleeding.  I also had a couple of ultrasounds to check everything.  My dr told me brown blood is ok.  Bright red blood and cramping is not ok.  (I didnt have any cramping. )  My dr also told me to not have sex (just in case)....so we didnt have sex until my 2nd trimester.  I havent had any bleeding in the 2nd trimester.  take care.

I had it a couple of times. Dr told me it was leftover from implantation and my PAP. She also told me that I have a sensitive cervix and that bleeding can occur after sex. ALthough that hasn't occured yet and I am 22 weeks now.

Yes, I had a lot of first trimester bleeding (heavy for a week) then I had bed rest and for a few weeks after that it was brown. They said brown is usually old from an old bleed (sex, vaginal exam, etc.)because our cervix is so much more sensitive now. I haven't had any more bleeding in the 2nd trimester and am almost 23 weeks.

I had bright red blood several times during my first trimester, freaked me out every time. But everything is good and baby seems healthy so far. They couldn't explain why I had bleeding either. I hope your bleeding is nothing serious, just take it easy and rest. Keep us updated.
