We had co-ed showers.  Despite what is proper, the more you involve the father the more he will stay involved down the road.

When I was pregnant with Hannah I didn't like my husband very much (of course I still loved him lol).   My family wanted to throw me a co-ed shower, but I didn't want one.   I wanted an afternoon of not having to deal with any men.    It was wonderful.

My mom is throwing me a shower in a couple of weeks.   I'm not for sure if it will be co-ed or not.  This time I don't care.   I guess I'm nicer this pregnancy lol.

It's your shower.  Don't worry about etiquette.  Do what makes you happy!

You had a blast with the first one, so I say go for it! Some people dont like it, but who cares. They can have a traditional party for THEIR baby shower. LOL.

Super proud mommy to Dylan, Owen and Sophia Brianne!

I am having a co-ed shower too.  I have been to alot more co-ed lately than just women showers.  I think its almost the norm. :)
