35 Week Update
Hello!
I had my 35 week appt today complete with ultrasound! Baby is measuring at 5lbs 13oz... overall I'm measuring 36 weeks (I've always thought I was a week ahead)
Her head on the other hand is measuring 38 weeks!!!! OMG!!! This kid has a big noggin!! I hope she's super smart lol! Zachary's head was big too... OUCH! I hope my epidural works this time!!
So since i'm 35 weeks... I don't have to go back for 2 weeks... She said they'll do another ultrasound at 38 weeks to see how big she is and that they might induce. I'm hoping she makes her appearance on Feb 5th- keep your fingers crossed!
On a personal note- I'm set to be laid off Jan 31st :( I'm super bummed about this... there are two open positions in my department that will be posted this Friday and I was basically told I will not be considered for either of them.
I'm hurt over this- I've been there the longest and I'm not blowing smoke when I say I have the most experience and carry more responsibilities than my co-workers. Since I'm a contractor I don't have a leg to stand on with them discriminating against me because I'm pregnant.
I was told that they plan on bringing me back if they can in 3 months- however it will be another contract position- it's hard to live your life day to day with a job 2 years like this has been hell, but I'm so grateful to have a job at all. I'd kill to be full time... it's about a $10-15K/per year raise :(
ho hum! lol
I hope everyone is doing well- congrats to the newbies and as always I'm thinking and hoping for all those TTC!

I hope we both have our babies on Feb 5th! Well actually, I'm hoping Noah will come the last week of January.
I hope your epidural works this time too. Big head = big OUCH!
Sorry about the job. That really stinks they won't consider you for the job.
At least you know they will be bringing you back. Am I remembering right that you weren't sure about that to start with?
